Our story

Originally fashion designers & mothers of two young daughters, we created the range with a grá for cúpla focail. We felt there was a need for a contemporary take on traditional Irish design, a modern interpretation of the heritage & symbolism of our culture. We are passionate about keeping Irish design and creativity alive and relevant for modern day Ireland. Our range is designed to be inclusive of gender & age. Our goal is to push the boundaries of what traditional Irish jewellery design looks like with present day concepts.We don’t design seasonally, instead we add to our range throughout the year. This is the kind of sustainable wardrobe we feel is so important, to have timeless/versatile pieces and move away from disposable fashion that you aren’t buying into seasonally or just due to a trend.

Our commitment to sustainability

Making our best effort to be as sustainable as possible and reduce our impact on the earth 🌎. Our base metal is 100% recycled brass. All packaging is recyclable, uncoated paper. We don’t use plastic sponges in our jewellery boxes Instead we offer a dust bag so our customers can store their pieces safely without scratching of other pieces in their jewellery box.

All packaging is designed by us (be sound, please recycle).

We work really closely with our manufacturer in Qingdao who employ all female makers and majority female management and we have a great relationship with them. Making sure we work with a maker that maintains high standards and certificates in workers protection, ethical business, protection of environment and health and safety standards is so important.
